SIGYN !

the arbiter

The resident Brit of Bombarda, Sigyn lives in the U.K. where she’s just graduated as a chemist/mad scientist. She has been endowed with the names Sig the Sweet (awwww) but also Sig the Slayer due to an unfortunate habit of truly torturing the characters she claims to love so much. As of November 2016 she has gained the titles 'Queen of Suffering' and 'Pain Mom'. And she is very proud of them.

If you’re looking for juicy drama of grand proportions for any of your characters then she’s the girl you want, but if you’re looking for something cosy and nice... well, maybe give her a wider berth.

Hailing from the hills of Eastern Kentucky she'll not hesitate to tell you she's Appalachian not Southern. Still, whether she'll admit it or not she's got the charm and hospitality Southerners are famous for. Where Sigyn is Pain Mom, M is just Mom, there to welcome you to the cbox with a warm batch of cookies and wrap you up in a cozy quilt.

She's currently living at home with her parents, three cats, and rabbit. M works nights and keeps odd hours because of it, but it pays the bills and keeps her from completely spiraling into a pit of despair over the fact that it feels like five years of college have been a waste. When she's not busy having existential crises she can be found reveling in the creativity of YOU. You, precious plum, you. She's putting that headcanon on the fridge!

Originally from the Great Plains of the USA, Kyros (or Ky) recently returned to the plains after two years spent in the Last Frontier where she taught in a coastal fishing village. She is adjusting to living in civilisation again and her main coping mechanism is, you guessed it, writing [s]and hoarding all them characters[/s]. Speaking of, she's got a great slew of characters and really enjoys plotting with them. While she's already got a small army, don't be surprised if a few more under her alias pop up... she's a hoarder.

SITE EVENT

BACK TO SCHOOL September has rolled around again, and the students are going back to school again. We have a board up for the welcome feasts HERE where Durmstrang will be reading out their test results, Beauxbatons will be hosting their Elite's talent show, and Hogwarts will be performing their sorting ceremony. And we also have the new internship scheme, sign-ups for employers are HERE. Escape Rooms aren't over though, they've just been moved to the AU board so HERE. So there's an awful lot to sink your teeth into!

SPOTLIGHT FEMALE // Mavis Vermillion played by Nara! "It seems only fitting that our new MoE should get a nomination for this! Nara's Mavis did fantastically well in the election of course, and I can't wait to see her in the role itself now. We've seen flickers of her fiery temper in the challenges so far while she's been standing up for herself and for others, and I'm just fascinated to see how she'll handle all this new responsibility!"

I swear the school wouldn't be the same if anyone else was in charge, not to mention how wonderfully enthusiastic and pretty much insane he is. I've had hilarious conversations with Data and pretty much everyone about how it would be a bad idea to give Colress any kind of weapon.... She's shone brightly ever since she joined our family way back when, and has always consistently had characters that brought a smile to our face or a tear to our eye. But this season she showed gravitas and determination with how well not only Mavis did - but SHE did as her player in taking her gracefully through every challenge thrown at her in the election plot! From beginning to end it was a whirlwind and every step of the way I found myself impressed by the way she handled things both OOC and ICly! I'm super excited to see where Mavis goes from here and know with Nara at the controls it'll be a delight to read!"

15 Sep A new announcement has gone up and we're rolling on into Autumn with a new spoopy skin to ring it in right! Everyone give a warm welcome and round of congratulations to Dannie and Kyros our first full time moderators! They'll be helping out on the staff team with the day-to-day tasks on the site from updating claims to linking back to ads. Bigger issues like site canon questions or concerns should still be brought to admin, however! We've also opened up the Student Internships sign up which can be found here. Also, if you play a villain please contact Sigyn ASAP!

2 Sep A month later, and we have a new set of things for you guys! First and most importantly, we have an Activity Check on at the moment. All the details for that can be found HERE so go make sure you're all sorted on that front first. Then we have the welcome feasts at the three schools, the board for those is HERE, and any posts relating to arriving back at school can be posted there. We also have a few new little things like the Gossip Blog and Internships, but further details on those can be found in our newest announcement which is HERE. So go explore!

2 Aug Summer Spotlight results are now posted in the pop-up for spotlights - the little trophy icon in the upper right corner of the site if you've not spotted it before! We've also got the ratio up to date following the activity check last month and could really use some students and staff for Durm and Beaux as well as non-Auror ministry members! Right now we have two events happening for the month, with an AU IC challenge of ESCAPE ROOMS as well as an OOC challenge with Q&A! Both can be found here!

13 July The final vote has come and gone for the Minister of Europe and a hearty round of congratulations goes out to Mavis Vermillion played beautifully by our very own Nara! It was an exciting last few months and we hope you all enjoyed that immersive experience in wizarding politics! We just had an activity check to sort out claims and do a bit of post-Spring cleaning. The school year has ended for all three schools, and the students are out for summer break! We have an AU IC event coming up in August and will see the introduction of a few different things in September for the schools! Currently we're accepting nominations for the Summer Spotlight which will be open until the 18th. Polls will go up after that and remain open for a week to allow time for any tie-breaker polls before the month is out!
