SIGYN !

the boss

The resident Brit of Bombarda, Sigyn lives in the U.K. where she’s just graduated as a chemist/mad scientist. She has been endowed with the names Sig the Sweet (awwww) but also Sig the Slayer due to an unfortunate habit of truly torturing the characters she claims to love so much. As of November 2016 she has gained the titles 'Queen of Suffering' and 'Pain Mom'. And she is very proud of them.

If you’re looking for juicy drama of grand proportions for any of your characters then she’s the girl you want, but if you’re looking for something cosy and nice... well, maybe give her a wider berth.

KYROS

Originally from the Great Plains of the USA, Kyros (or Ky) recently returned to the plains after two years spent in the Last Frontier where she taught in a coastal fishing village. She is adjusting to living in civilisation again and her main coping mechanism is, you guessed it, writing ~~and hoarding all them characters~~.

Speaking of, she's got a great slew of characters and really enjoys plotting with them. While she's already got a small army, don't be surprised if a few more under her alias pop up... she's a hoarder.

SPOTLIGHT FEMALE // Evangeline Riot played by Jonsie! "I love this character, she's so much more complex than she appears on the surface which is just testament to how well Jonsie writes her. She seems like any old tough cookie on the outside, but different characters manage to dig out different parts of the inner Evan. And yet they all make total sense, all these different sides that different people see, which is honestly how it is in real life too. Evan seems to finally be getting some GOOD influences in her life too and I'm so happy for her, even if she's not quite managed to shake off the bad ones just yet!"

SPOTLIGHT MALE // Klarion Bleak played by Kitten! "I've known this character for years now but I think we've seen so many different sides of him recently that I think he definitely deserves a nomination here! Between the vulnerability and the almost sweetness he's showing to Evan, and the vitriolic hatred and soon to be defensive rage he's showing Ed, we're seeing so many new sides to him that Kit's not had a chance to flex in a while, and I love seeing characters really pushed to the edges of what we're used to. And the fact that after knowing Klarion as a character for so wrong, I still find him unpredictable in threads, I think is just a great sign of Kit's tremendous skill."

01 Apr Happy Easter Bombers! Things have been moving along very smoothly recently so there's not too much to report here. We have lots of wonderful new members who have joined us recently who we are very excited to have, and we recently completed the official launch of the fully integrated Ministry of Magic! This month's event is Bombarda Bingo, so click here to check that out, and get ready to celebrate Bombarda's second birthday next month!

01 Feb February has begun so that means it's time for a new site event! This month, we have a set of challenges for you, that will give you a chance to think about some of the key facotrs that make your character who they are and Bombarda what it is! Check out the EVENT DETAILS for more information, and try and earn your self 50 points so you can get a coveted challenge frog!

14 Jan The big news this time around is of course that M is sadly leaving us as a staff member on Bombarda. She will be missed, but we wish her all the best for the future. Our latest UPDATE covers what changes this may mean for Bomb, but in general after a little restructuring of the staff team, not much should change for our members. We have an update to the ongoing MoE event in there too, as well as details on the upcoming Activity Check and OTSs. Happy new year to you all, and we wish you an awesome 2018!

01 Dec It's officially winter! That means new skin and new event, and after how well the Winter Markets were received last year, we decided to bring them back for you all! There's a twist this year though - they're all about celebrating muggle culture. You can find out the rest of the details HERE so go take a look (and start planning your outfits for the themed December Dance)!

15 Nov The villain takeover event is being extended through the month of November so you've still got loads of time to wrap those exciting AU threads up. And once that board closes, as with most other events, it will be moved to the "Past" board as a subforum so you can still continue the threads~ We've also added Vampires to the list of playable beings onsite so if you've been itching to try your hand at a vamp now's your chance! Sign-ups have gone up for our OOC holiday events - Secret Santa and the Advent Drabble. Details about the IC event for the holidays will go up on December 1st so keep an eye out for that! We're also rolling out donor frogs and updating snitch levels!
